  • Why do I see sub orders in my order history?

    Any order you place on the site may contain items from different vendors. This implies that your order may have more than one suborder; these are shipped by the vendors separately.

  • Why do I receive my order in many parts?

    Any order you make can contain items from many vendors, these suborders are handled by each vendor individually. That is why your items are delivered in parts.

  • What if I get my order in a damaged/bad condition?

    The sellers are careful not to damage your orders after packaging and shipping them for you. If your order happens to be damaged, you can inform the seller and us to get return merchandize authorization from the seller to return the items.

  • How long will it take to ship my items?

    Because this is a Print on Demand system in most cases, we request 5-7 business days to print your order prior to shipping. (Excluding weekends and holidays). In most cases, it is completed and ready for shipment within 5 days. At that point, we prepare your item for shipping, and depending on where you are in the world, your shipping times will vary. Within Canada, it is typically 5 business days. To the US, it is typically within 7-10 business days. If you are international, please allow up to 3 weeks.  If you haven’t received your items in this span of time, please contact the seller immediately.

  • Can I purchase without registering?

    No. You need to first register with the site and login to be able to shop with the site. However, you can browse and compare items even without logging in.

  • Do I need to do anything after I receive the items?

    You can login to the system, go to 'Orders' section and update the status of each sub-orders (if any) to 'delivered' after you get your items in good condition.

  • Why is Shipping so expensive compared with other sites?

    There are a few reasons for this. First, as should be obvious, books have weight to them, and when we ship, there is a cost by weight. Second, we are a new site/system. Others who can do it for much cheaper, have a HIGH VOLUME shipping and get rates as such. As we continue to grow, we will always pass on our shipping savings to our customers. Unlike others, we do not add on to the shipping costs - what you see is what we are quoted for the product size and weight. We hope to lower the costs substantially as we continue to grow, so definitely please tell your friends about MyCustomJournal.
